Interview

What is your name?

dramaqueensoph. Can you tell by that? I’ll give you a hint, it doesn’t end with the letter ‘a’.

If you had another name other than the one you have, what would it be?

I really like the name Mina, but that’s a pretty common name nowadays. I like it because it’s easy to pronounce in a lot of East Asian languages (actually, in all the 3 languages). I really like my name right now so I don’t know. I like the name Suzy too, so maybe that?

What’s your favorite color and why?

I have always said red because my birthstone is ruby. Also, in China red is considered a “lucky” color and I am pretty superstitious.

What’s your favorite book? Movie?

I haven’t read a book in like forever, but I like the Legend series (mostly influenced by the fact that the author came to my high school and signed Prodigy for me). Prodigy is probably the only fictional book I have left on my bookshelf because, like I mentioned, I don’t really read for fun anymore. My favorite movie is How to Train Your Dragon because I really like Hiccup (he is so cute!), even though most people like the dragon better. I have probably watched that movie…I’m not sure..more than seven times I think.

Who’s your favorite author?

Marie Lu. I also admire J.K. Rowling.

What are your goals in life?

I heard that “happiness is the best revenge” somewhere, and I guess for all the wrongs I feel about life at times, I think being happy is a primary goal in my life.

What is your dream job?

I guess an ideal dream job is something freelance or something I can do at home. But I guess it wouldn’t be ideal because I wouldn’t have a stable income or be able to go out often. Hm…this is hard. Oh wait, I know. An actress. I want to work in the entertainment industry.

If you were an animal, what would you be and why?

I want to be a rich person’s cat, so I can live in luxury and not have to do anything. Wait I didn’t answer this question properly. I think I would be a cat though because I can never please everyone like a dog, and I have my days where I’m not lazy, but for the most part, I’m pretty lazy.

If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go?

I would want to go to (surprise, surprise) Seoul. I visited for the first time last summer and it was probably one of my favorite vacations. All the other vacations I’ve gone on with my family were not decided by me, but rather my family. Although I’ve already been in Seoul, I would want to go back. Some other places I would like to visit are London, Paris, Tokyo, and Hawaii.

What is the most interesting thing about you?

I honestly don’t think there is anything that really makes me special from others. I’m just another Asian girl who likes Korean dramas. I like to write, but I’m not particularly good at it. OH, I guess I used to speak Quebec French.

What is one thing that people don’t know about you but you think they should?

I don’t know…maybe the fact that I’m weird? If you approach me thinking I’m sort of sane then I think you should leave. lol

What music do you like? What artists do you listen to?

I wrote an article on this!  Here is the post:  Music –What am I listening to? I wrote this article recently, so it’s pretty up to date with what I’m currently listening to. Even though I am not watching the drama Goblin, I like a lot of the OST songs for that drama. I’m currently listening to a lot of that. Also super excited for Suzy’s new single. I didn’t really enjoy Pretend at first, but after I looked up the lyrics, I started to like the song a lot. I really like the line “I’m afraid they’ll talk about me”, and I was watching Suzy’s reality show yesterday and that was the line she could resonate the most with when singing, so I guess the feelings that she gave off when singing that song rubbed off a bit on me. I am currently also liking Bolbbalgan Sachungi; they give off the vibe that I really like these days: the relaxing, R&B vibe.

What are your hobbies?

Listening to music, typing (I like the sound that it makes), eating.

I like how this article was much more organized (mainly came from the fact that there were guiding questions) and I think it would be interesting to do more of these kinds of question/interview type posts.

xoxo,
